"Isolation" is a track that I wrote during the first lockdown in Germany, March 2020. Many of us, I think, got a lot closer to the concept of isolation than we did before or that we'd cared for. Nevertheless this strange time in March proved quite productive for me and this piece is some evidence for that...

Almost a year after the track was written during another lockdown early in 2021 the river Rhine in Düsseldorf flooded during a cold spell leaving little strange frozen worlds behind where the water receded. I tried to capture these small worlds on a sunny but cold day and set them to this piece.
